Impairment Rating

An impairment rating gives a percentage number between 0-100 that quantifies the extent of the impairment. An impairment is a deviation from normal in a body part or organ system. Impairment ratings are typically performed once a patient has reached Maximum Medical Improvement.

We are trained in the 6th edition of the AMA Guidelines for Evaluation of Permanent Impairment and conduct evaluations for various musculoskeletal conditions at the request of physicians, insurance carriers, case managers, and attorneys.
